What happens when you visit this site
When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary information to our web server: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page and the browser identifier. This information is stored in the hosting provider’s log files, serves secure operation and troubleshooting, and is not combined with other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in trouble-free operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted after seven days at the latest.
Cookies and analytics
We set no cookies and use no analytics. Your choice of language is not stored; it follows from the address of the page you open. A single cookie is created only in the non-public area used to maintain the menu, and only for the person logged in there. It holds a random session identifier, serves the login alone and expires when the browser is closed.
Third-party services
Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are hosted on our own server. No content is loaded from Google, Facebook, Instagram or any other provider. Nor do we embed a map: the links to OpenStreetMap and Google Maps on the directions page are ordinary links that establish a connection only when you click them.
Contacting us
If you call us or send an email, we process your details in order to deal with your request, for example a reservation or an enquiry about a celebration. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the details as soon as they are no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies. This website has no contact form.
Hosting
This website is operated by a service provider that processes data on our behalf. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with that provider.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you, to have it corrected or erased, to have processing restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing. Please contact the controller named above. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for us this is the Data Protection Commissioner of the State of Brandenburg.
