We warmly welcome you to the grounds of Marina am Zernsee. Our restaurant on the banks of the Havel, surrounded by wide meadows and the orchards of the Werder fruit-growing region, is a true paradise.
The area and our tables outdoors are exactly right for anyone who loves being outside. Sit back, enjoy the quiet and the fresh air, and join us on a culinary journey.
Alongside regional dishes we serve the pleasures of the Mediterranean. We adapt those dishes to the season.

Who cooks here
Timo Shahwan learned his craft in Michelin-starred kitchens and has cooked for heads of state and senior politicians. Here he stands at the stove himself. No white tablecloths, no ceremony.
Our dishes are prepared fresh for you, mostly from regional ingredients. Please bear with us if that sometimes takes a little longer.
A restaurant right on the water
We are on the grounds of Marina am Zernsee in Werder (Havel). On the terrace you sit right at the harbour basin, looking out over the boats and across the Havel. Indoors is ready when the wind picks up and through the winter, with large windows facing the same view.

Pizza at the weekend
On Saturdays and Sundays we also bake pizza. Four kinds, freshly made, from Margherita to Parma ham with rocket.

By car
Leave the A10 motorway at Phöben (exit 23). Parking is available on the marina grounds.

By train and bus
From Werder (Havel) station take bus 632 or 634 to the stop “Zum großen Zernsee”.

By bicycle
We are close to the Havel cycle route. You can leave your bike right outside.

By boat
Ten moorings right at the house, free for our guests. Tie up and you are at your table a few steps later.
